Developing a Partnership Strategy for SOS Lapsikylä to Strengthen Children's Rights in Corporate ESG Practices

This project was part of the Capstone in Creative Sustainability course at Aalto University, conducted in collaboration with SOS Lapsikylä, the Finnish branch of the international NGO SOS Children’s Villages.
Against the backdrop of the EU’s Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS), the client sought to expand its corporate partnership network by helping companies better integrate children's rights into their supply chains and ESG reporting.
Our design team’s objective was to create practical tools and actionable guidance for SOS Lapsikylä.
Through academic research, sustainability benchmarking, and expert interviews, we ultimately developed a Partnership Handbook, a ready-to-use resource as an entry point for improving the low disclosure reality and starting the partnership.
